Attraction Introduction:

Green Gables Heritage Place:
This 19th-century green-and-white farmhouse perfectly recreates the setting from the novel, with interior furnishings preserved in the style of Anne’s era. Visitors can explore the kitchen, living room, and Anne’s attic bedroom, immersing themselves in the blend of literature and history.
Outside the heritage site, two wooded hiking trails replicate the "Haunted Wood" and "Lover’s Lane" from the book, offering picturesque scenery that transports visitors into the romantic world of the novel.

Avonlea Village:
Located near Green Gables, this attraction was built in the 1960s to honor the legacy of Anne of Green Gables and Lucy Maud Montgomery’s work. Designed to mirror the fictional Avonlea, it recreates the charm of the novel’s setting.
This historic village allows visitors to experience early 20th-century rural life. With quaint buildings, handmade crafts, and interactive activities, it feels like stepping into Anne’s world. The brightly colored houses, mostly operating as restaurants, are touted as "PEI’s best dining spots," offering not only a deep dive into the novel’s world but also a culinary delight—making this a rare "day trip" where you don’t need to pack lunch, ensuring both spiritual and gastronomic satisfaction.

Cavendish National Park:
Renowned for its stunning coastline, distinctive red sandstone cliffs, and vast dunes, the park features miles of white sandy beaches (Cavendish Beach) contrasting dramatically with rust-colored cliffs—especially breathtaking at sunset. The calm, clear waters are perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or seaside strolls.
